Pricing

A straight answer on cost, before we ask for your business.

We don't quote a number until we understand the problem — but here's exactly how we price, what moves the number, and what you get at each tier, so a call isn't the first place you learn any of it.

Diagnostic & Audit

From $2,500

1–2 weeks, fixed

A fixed-price, fixed-timeline read on what is actually wrong — architecture, security, performance, or platform fit — before you commit to a bigger project.

Best for

You want a second opinion before approving a rebuild, migration, or infrastructure spend.

  • Full architecture and dependency review
  • A plain-language report, ranked by real risk and cost
  • A specific recommendation — fix, refactor, rebuild, or leave it alone

Most Common

Fixed-Scope Project

From $15,000

Typically 4–16 weeks

A defined build — a Shopify theme, an ERP integration, a SaaS MVP — scoped in detail and quoted as one number after discovery, not billed hour by hour.

Best for

You know roughly what needs to get built and want price certainty going in.

  • A written scope both sides sign off on before work starts
  • A fixed price and a fixed timeline, not a running estimate
  • Fixed price holds unless you change the scope, not if we misjudge it

Ongoing Partnership

From $6,000/mo

Month-to-month

A dedicated block of engineering time every month, for teams that need continuous development, support, or infrastructure ownership rather than one deliverable.

Best for

You need a team extension, not a single project with an end date.

  • A set number of hours reserved for your team each month
  • Direct access to the engineers doing the work, not a rotating pool
  • Cancel or adjust scope monthly, no annual lock-in

Ranges are starting points, not caps — final numbers come from the scoping call, not this page.

What Moves The Number

Same category of work, different price — here's why.

Integration complexity

ERP sync, legacy APIs, and third-party systems add real scoping time before a line of code gets written.

Data volume

A 500-SKU catalog and a 200,000-part one are different migrations, even on the same platform.

Timeline

Compressed deadlines usually mean more people on it at once, which changes the number.

Compliance requirements

PCI, HIPAA, or SOC 2 constraints shape the architecture from day one, not as an add-on.

Existing codebase health

Building on a clean foundation costs less than building around one that needs stabilizing first.

Support level after launch

Handoff-and-done and always-on monitoring are priced differently for good reason.

How We Get To A Number

Three steps between "hello" and a price in writing.

01

Free strategy call

Thirty minutes, no cost. We want to hear the actual problem before anyone talks about price.

02

Scoping, sometimes a paid diagnostic

For anything complex, we scope it properly first — occasionally as a paid audit — instead of guessing at a number.

03

One number, in writing

A fixed quote or a clear monthly rate before work starts, not an estimate that grows as we go.

Questions

Pricing questions we get before the call.

Why isn't there a price list on this page?

Because the honest answer to "what does an ERP integration cost" is "it depends what your ERP looks like." A price list accurate enough to be useful would need to ask the same scoping questions a call does — so we skip straight to the call.

Do I have to sign up for a retainer to get started?

No. Most engagements start as a fixed-scope project or a paid diagnostic. Retainers make sense once there is an ongoing need, not as the default entry point.

Is the strategy call actually free?

Yes. It is us understanding your problem well enough to know whether we are a fit, and giving you a straight answer either way — including telling you if you do not need us.

How is a fixed-scope quote different from an hourly estimate?

An estimate can grow. A fixed-scope quote is a number we commit to in writing after scoping the work properly, and it only changes if you change the scope, not if we misjudged the job.

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

We write up the change and its cost before starting on it, the same way the original scope was priced. No surprise line items on the final invoice.

What is the smallest project you will take on?

If a smaller fix or a config change solves it, we will tell you that instead of proposing a bigger project. Diagnostics start around the low end of the ranges above; from there it scales with what is actually needed.

Tell us the problem. We'll tell you what it costs to fix it.

Thirty minutes, no cost, and no obligation to move forward.
